Reuters reports that special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has filed a request for a new grand jury. The report stated "'the investigation will involve proceedings before a different grand jury than the grand jury which returned the indictment' against Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis 'Scooter' Libby."

Thursday, the National Journal reported that the New York Times reporter provided details about her 23 June 2003 meeting with Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff only after being presented with evidence (Secret Service logs) that showed she had met with Libby in the Executive Office Building.
